Brooke Warner is offering a new Show Up and Write series for accountability from September 2023 to February 2024. The cost is $99 for the entire series, no matter when you sign up.
Registration for 2024’s Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop begins on November 15th.
Silk and Sonder has posted its November Socials on Eventbrite.
Lauren Sapala is hosting her Silent Writing Sessions again this month. These can, of course, be used for anything! Some folks use for writing or other creative pursuits, but some do tasks they have to get done or have been procrastinating on.
Reedsy is offering a new Write a Novel Masterclass. “Your story matters. Join Tom Bromley for a writing master class and finish your first draft in 101 days.” Offered three times so far. Class start dates in September 18, October 30, and January 8. Price is steep at $1K, but it looks serious and worth it.
Every month (twice each month), Eventbrite offers a FREE Virtual Writing Hour with the National Portrait Gallery event. This month’s session is (only one in November) on the 28th.
World Virtual Tours offers several free online walks through wonderful cities each month.

Quotes
“My biggest fear is the same as my biggest hope: That I am seen.” ~Erykah Badu
“Joy, with peace, is the sister of charity. Serve the Lord with laughter.” ~St. Pio of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio)
“How do I know I can trust you?” “You don’t, but you can. Strangers are less likely to let you down than people you know.” ~From Alice Feeney’s Good Bad Girl
“We act as if comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life when all that we need to make us really happy is something to be enthusiastic about.” ~Charles Kingsley
“I feel entirely dehumanised by the sun now and wish for fog, snow, rain, humanity.” ~Virginia Woolf (Oh, how I needed this quote!!)
My Christmas present feeling this month was the unexpected help and support I got moving. Remembering a coworker’s words from another life 20 years ago: “Always choose easy.”
