Silk and Sonder has posted its January Socials on Eventbrite.

Class start dates are Jan 8th, Feb 19th, or April 8th, 2024. Price is steep at $1K+, but it looks serious and worth it.
Every month (twice each month), Eventbrite offers a FREE Virtual Writing Hour with the National Portrait Gallery event. This month’s sessions are on the 9th and 23rd .
World Virtual Tours offers several free online walks through wonderful cities each month.

Quotes
“Silence is to prayer as the canvas is to the painter. Silence is to our soul as oxygen is to our body. Silence sensitizes us to hear God. We were made FOR the Silence.” ~Fr. Mark Toups, Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, Louisiana.
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass
the world is too full to talk about.” ~Rumi
“I need to be alone. I need to ponder my shame and my despair in seclusion; I need the sunshine and the paving stones of the streets without companions, without conversation, face to face with myself, with only the music of my heart for company.” ~Henry Miller, in the Tropic of Cancer
